Our Hygienist
Tianna Henry is our fabulous Dental Hygienist and Oral Health Therapist. Tianna’s training and experience gives her the skills and knowledge to support your dental hygiene needs. Her warm and engaging nature allows her to make your hygiene experience a pleasant one.
What does a hygienist do?
As a hygienist Tianna specialises in gum health, cleaning any bacterial build-up (plaque and tartar) off your teeth and supporting the rejuvenation of the health of your gums. Tianna’s primary focus is on helping you to keep your teeth and gums in the best condition possible and she is skilled at working with you to reduce sensitivity and gum recession issues. Tianna enjoys the education side of her role and loves helping people to improve their brushing and flossing techniques to ensure that the great work done in the clinic can be continued at home.
About Tianna
Tianna completed her training at AUT in Auckland. Tianna joined the Dental Care Centre team in February 2022 after graduating from her Bachelor of Health Sciences in Oral Health. Tianna grew up in Gisborne and has enjoyed returning home after her studies to give back to the community that she was born and raised in. In her spare time Tianna enjoys going on weekend roadies, game nights and spending time with her friends and family.
